Feliz Navidad

First, some holiday silliness for those of you that haven't already seen this video.  This is Dan & me and our friends, Carl & Melody, performing Jose Feliciano's  FELIZ NAVIDAD  for you.  (Just press "open" when asked if you want to open or save, then press the arrow to start)  It takes a long time to load, so you have to be patient.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!  We sure did!  We decorated the tree on Christmas Eve

with the special ornaments starring our little girl

Yeah, right.  Well, we would've if we'd had a tree, (and special ornaments) but we settled for decorating the fake house plant in the living room with the dollar store balls instead.
The Taz ornaments were done using an i-Phone app called PhotoFunia.

Christmas Day started with freshly squeezed orange juice and a BIG breakfast.

Followed by a walk on the beach.

Some food prep at home, then over to Carl & Melody's place to hang out for the afternoon while waiting for dinner to cook.

 Carl & Melody recently had a window put in their kitchen - it's still a novelty to be able to see outside (and IN!)  Melody was outside tending to the salmon on the BBQ

Wait - is that a toenail in it??  EW!!

Nah, we use shells that we've collected from the beach for Rummoli chips and this mis-shapen one got dubbed "the toenail"  (Who was in charge of quality control?)

We have no big plans for New Year's Eve.  The only thing on the agenda is to listen to Carl doing his 2nd radio show with Rosie in the afternoon.  You can listen in too between noon & 2pm MST on Saturday, 31 December.  Rocky Point Ramblings.
